Scope Bass Coast’s bowling team take home the Bowlopolis league trophy.

Bowlopolis is a bowling competition run by the Philip Island Tenpin and Entertainment Centre. Scope Bass Coast has a very competitive bowling team who have been playing for the last few seasons, as well as in an open league. “Team Destruction” proudly wear their team t-shirts for competition which were designed by participant, Sterling Coulton.

The 2017 season of the Philip Island Tenpin and Entertainment Centre’s Bowlopolis league was run and won in great style, with the grand finale being a Celebration Gala Day. This season saw 66 athletes bowling for the competition in five teams. This year saw Team Destruction victorious for the third year in a row. No other team before Scope has won more than once in a row- well done team!

Team Destruction’s newest recruit, Jarrod Winn took home the trophy for the highest score on the day. He was so proud- this was his first ever trophy, and it’s now proudly displayed at home. Veteran team members Harry Green won best seasonal average, and Spenser Coulton the second best seasonal average, adding to their collection of bowling trophies.

Gala Day brought all the phantom teams together to play for the Bowlopolis league trophy. The day was such a great success, with everyone having improved their skills over the season, but also having a laugh and helping each other.
