A few words from Board member Lea Pope
Professionalism and a focus on customers
I have been part of the Scope Board for three years and continue to be impressed by Scope’s focus on the people for whom we provide services, the innovation demonstrated in service design as well as the high degree of professionalism shown in all areas.
Our success in being selected by the Victorian Government to deliver supported independent living services to more than 1,000 Victorians with a disability, has been a highlight in recent months and is a result of the hard work and skills of our Executive team, led by Dr Jennifer Fitzgerald. I certainly feel privileged to work alongside people who are totally focused on ensuring the best services can be delivered.
I’ve had the opportunity to visit a number of Scope sites and it is clear that our staff are totally focused on meeting the needs and aspirations of customers. The highly professional approach to the implementation of the NDIS, in what at times can be a frustrating environment, has impressed me because it is evident that Scope is doing all that is possible to ensure customers’ needs are met through the scheme.
I feel extremely proud to have an association with Scope and am confident of a strong and positive future.
