Roaming Ranch: My dream come true

My name is Hannah Brown. I am almost 25 years old and currently live at Scope Brocka Avenue short term accommodation in Belmont.

One of my interests is horses. I have been lucky enough to be involved in the program at the Roaming Ranches since February this year, attending one afternoon a month.

I am practicing my independence by going to and from the ranch via taxi on my own.

Activities include leading a horse named Harry around. Grooming him, feeding him, patting and talking to him.

The ranch has lots of horses as well as other animals. There are a lot of rabbits, guinea pigs, cats and kittens, one dog named Whiskey and a goat.

I am allowed to pick up the smaller animals to give them a cuddle while I am there.
