Celebrating achievements

A diverse and inclusive community benefits us all.

In April, I had the great pleasure of watching three individuals who are supported by Scope receive recognition at the Inspire Awards for their outstanding achievements.

Seeing Greg, Cam and Adam be recognised for their talents and commitment to their work was a very strong reminder of the importance of creating opportunities for people with a disability to reach their potential.

With the right support, it is truly incredible what people can achieve and we become a richer society for enabling these talents to flourish.

We celebrated the rollout of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in the Loddon region on the 1st of May, another milestone in the state wide transition into the scheme.

Finally, inspired by Ben Hill and the team from Scope Bendigo, I have encouraged the other members of the Executive team here at Scope to take on the challenge of participating in the Melbourne Marathon in October!

Join us and help make it happen this year by signing up to be part of Scope Team Ability. The Melbourne Marathon is such an iconic event, and by coming together we can represent not just Scope, but a community that is diverse and inclusive.
