Volunteers needed for Telescope inclusive writing group
A fantastic opportunity to contribute writing skills, time and encouragement whilst making new friends!
Leading national disability support provider Scope is running an inclusive writing group from May 2019, with sessions being held at Kathleen Syme Library & Community Centre, Carlton.
Delivered in partnership with Melbourne Library Service and building on several years of collaboration around mentorships and workshops, Telescope aims to support creative development and community inclusion of people with disabilities. Benefits of the project for participants will include:

- Social contact through shared activity/interest
- Creative development and publishing work to a blog
- Capacity Building toward a potential ongoing self-run group
Who we’re looking for

All you need is some writing skills and the desire to support participants to develop their creative writing ability.
There are 5 volunteer positions available.
If you are interested in writing, have some time and are looking to contribute to innovative and empowering new projects, we want to hear from you!
